Eligibility Criteria

To apply for Subclass 858, you must meet the following:

General Requirements

  • Be internationally recognised with a record of exceptional achievement in your field.
  • Be nominated by an eligible Australian organisation or individual with national reputation.
  • Submit a successful Expression of Interest (EOI) and receive an invitation to apply.
  • Demonstrate the ability to attract a salary at or above the Fair Work High Income Threshold (FWHIT).
